Moses, Oliver, Charles, Jacob, Olga, Scovia, Jackson, Jack, Irene, Harrison. These are young men and women who are committed members of Christ Church Kisumu. The exciting thing is that all but 2 of them first came to Christ Church High School. Through the years, they got planted in the church, and now, even though they graduated last year, they are forming the core of our youth ministry. Two of them, Jackson and Irene, joined our staff last month and are doing a great job in their areas of responsibility. Other former students are in other churches, but they still come by to "hang around", or play a game of basketball. As I looked over the congregation this morning, I'm sure there were at least 20 current students in the congregation as well - many of them from unsaved families. One of our brand new Form 1 students was there with a couple of friends.
It's not just former students who God has planted at the church, it's former teachers too. What joy to see them worshipping with all their hearts, and bringing their friends as well. As I start a new week of responsibilities as the principal, I am encouraged by what God is doing in the lives of these and many other young people at Christ Church Schools.

Thank you Lord for this FRUIT!
