In 2 hours Cheri leaves Kisumu. That's REALLY sad. She will be missed so much by every one of us in the Swenson household and at Christ Church Kisumu. But at the same time we are so very, very grateful for these 18 months with this incredible woman. So grateful for the laughter she's brought to our dinner table; for the support she's given as we travelled through the challenges of the days and weeks and months together; for the ministries she birthed and the young people led to Jesus, counselled, or discipled; for the opportunity to know her as a friend and colleague. Our love and prayers are going with her.
